  iKau - LOC Iroc
The iKau is the latest of Keri's "herd" of cow-themed rockets. The kit is a nearly-stock LOC I-Roc with a few custom modifications. First, the kit has seen some changes; the fins are now throgh-the-wall to the motor tube, which is a good thing. The other changes were the addition of a third centering ring, a slight reworking of the recovery system (nylon instead of the straight elastic, tempered steel eyebolt instead of mild steel, etc.).

The paintjob, though... Keri did a marvelous job on the paint job, didn't she? There're more details down in the Design & Construction section, but this rocket really looks nice. The base coat is normal white spray paint, but Keri decided to experiment with Monokote for the details, including the cow spots and her own custom-cut name decal.

This rocket is intended to be Keri's Level 2 NAR High Power certification rocket, scheduled for flight in March at Dayton for Odd Roc 2003.
